iWitness incorporates advanced sub-pixel “centroiding” abilities to quickly mark targets (in this case DCS markers). With one click anywhere in the white circle, iWitness will automatically 'center' on the circle, a process that eliminates any hand-to-cursor marking errors. iWitness will mark and cross reference the 3D point location with a single click. In this example, we are zoomed-in on Marker 'S' at night, from a distance of 125 feet (38 meters). iWitness can centroid on DCS markers to over two-hundred feet at night. The sub-pixel centroid tool also performs exceptionally well in applications employing retro-reflective targets that need to be measured to a very high accuracy.
